AUTOID had spent years building one of the most trusted names in premium vehicle styling. Their catalogue spans thousands of aftermarket parts, body kits, carbon fibre components, wheels, exhaust systems, and performance upgrades, across marques including BMW, Audi, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, and Tesla. With a 4.85/5 rating from over 2,300 reviews, the brand had earned serious credibility with car enthusiasts.

But the numbers were telling a different story. Organic search rankings had collapsed, triggering a dramatic drop in traffic. The site had grown sluggish and bloated. And conversion rates were in steady decline.

For a retailer with AUTOID’s catalogue depth, thousands of SKUs spanning dozens of vehicle makes, models, and generations, navigation isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s the single most important factor in whether a customer finds what they’re looking for or bounces.

What started as an urgent investigation into collapsing traffic became a long-term strategic partnership. On our very first call, we identified that all metadata across the site had been stripped out, making every product and collection page invisible to search engines. We fixed that immediately, then carried out a full NNP audit that revealed a much wider set of issues suppressing performance.

We audited and culled the entire app stack, removing years of accumulated bloat that was taxing every page load. The mega navigation was rebuilt from the ground up around three intuitive entry points, shop by car, shop by brand, and shop by product type, designed for a catalogue spanning thousands of SKUs across dozens of vehicle makes. We rebuilt the mega navigation from the ground up, restructuring it around three intuitive entry points: shop by car, shop by brand, and shop by product type. Each path is designed to guide customers to the right product in as few clicks as possible, regardless of how they prefer to browse.
